Terms of Service
Last updated October 24, 2026.
1. These terms and the service
1.1 These terms are an agreement between Quantum Fulfillment, LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company, with offices at 39 Everett Drive, Princeton Junction, New Jersey 08550 ("Quantum", "we", "us"), and the business that opens a partner account ("you"). The person who accepts them confirms they have authority to bind that business.
1.2 Quantum prints books, journals, notebooks, calendars, posters and similar products to order and ships them to the addresses you give us (the "Service"). You reach the Service through the partner dashboard at www.quantum-production.com and the partner API at api.quantum-production.com.
1.3 The Service is for businesses. You may not use it as a consumer, and you must not open an account on behalf of anyone under 18.
1.4 These terms include the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy, and the prices, product specifications and documentation published on the partner site, each as updated under section 9. If they conflict, these terms win, then the Acceptable Use Policy, then the rest.
2. Your account, keys and the sandbox
2.1 We open an account after reviewing a request. We may decline any request without giving a reason.
2.2 You may invite your staff to the account and give them roles. You are responsible for what anyone does under your account or with your API keys, and for keeping the information in your account accurate, including the ship-from names and addresses of your brands.
2.3 API keys and webhook signing secrets are shown once. Keep them secret, give them only to people and systems that need them, and revoke a key in the dashboard as soon as you think it has been exposed. Orders placed with your live key are your orders, and you pay for them, until you revoke it.
2.4 Sandbox keys (beginning qp_test_) are for building and testing. Sandbox orders are never printed or shipped, are paid from play credit that has no cash value, and may be deleted at any time. Live keys (beginning qp_live_) place real orders that we print, ship and charge for.
3. Plans, credit and payment
3.1 Plan fee. Your plan carries a monthly platform fee, billed in advance to the card on your account and renewing each month until you cancel. The fee buys access to the Service and your plan's pricing; it does not include printing. You can change or cancel your plan in the dashboard; changes are prorated, and a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
3.2 Minimums. Some plans include a monthly minimum number of copies. If you order fewer copies in a month than your plan's minimum, we charge the shortfall at the rate stated for your plan at the end of that month.
3.3 Trial. A new account starts with a trial of the Starter plan, normally 30 days with $50 of trial credit; the email that opens your account states yours. You must add a card to start it; we do not charge the card during the trial. Trial credit can be spent only on orders and expires when the trial ends. When the trial ends, the Starter plan starts and we charge its monthly fee to your card unless you have cancelled or changed plans before then. We will remind you by email 7 days before the trial ends.
3.4 Prepaid credit. Orders are paid from a prepaid credit balance. You buy credit by topping up in the dashboard. Once you add a card, auto-recharge is on: whenever your live balance falls below $200 we charge your card $1,000. You can change both amounts or turn auto-recharge off in the dashboard, and it never charges during the trial. Credit is in US dollars and can be used only to pay for the Service.
3.5 Credit expires and is not refundable. Each purchase of credit expires 12 months after the date you buy it, and we spend the credit that expires soonest first. Credit is not refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred, except where the law requires otherwise. Credit left on an account when it closes is forfeited.
3.6 Taxes. Prices do not include taxes. We calculate sales tax on each order from its ship-to address and charge it with the order, unless you have given us a valid resale or exemption certificate that covers it. You are responsible for any other taxes on your use of the Service.
3.7 Payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. You authorize us to charge your card for plan fees, minimum shortfalls, top-ups and auto-recharges as described here. If a charge fails, section 7.2 applies.
3.8 Prices. We may change our prices and plan fees by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the dashboard. A change never affects an order already placed.
4. Orders
4.1 Proofs. Proofs are optional. You can order one proof copy of any product, charged like any other order and shipped to the address of the brand the order ships under (your default brand unless you choose another). A product takes orders as soon as you set it up, and you are responsible for checking that your files print as you intend.
4.2 Placing an order. An order is placed when we accept it through the API or the dashboard. We charge its full price from your credit at that moment: the copies at your plan's price, a handling fee per order, estimated shipping and tax. If your credit does not cover it, we refuse the order and charge nothing. The price shown when you place an order is the price you pay, apart from the shipping adjustment in 5.3.
4.3 Your instructions. You are responsible for what you send: the product, page count, quantity, files, shipping method and address. We print what you send. We do not check spelling, layout, image quality or rights, though we may stop an order that looks wrong and ask you about it.
4.4 Cancelling. You can cancel an order until it goes into production, and its full charge comes back to your account as credit. After that it can no longer be cancelled.
4.5 Changing the address. You can change where an order ships until its shipping label is printed. We re-estimate the shipping, and charge or credit the difference.
4.6 Orders we decline. We may decline or stop any order that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or that we cannot produce. If we decline an order after charging it, its full charge comes back as credit.
5. Production, shipping and defects
5.1 Times. We print and ship each order as soon as we reasonably can. Production and transit times we publish are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for carrier delays.
5.2 Where and how we ship. We ship only to addresses in the United States and Canada, by the methods listed in our shipping documentation. Labels show the ship-from name and company of the brand the order ships under, above Quantum's address. Parcels the carrier cannot deliver come back to us, and we will hold them for 30 days and reship them at your cost on request, after which we may dispose of them.
5.3 Shipping adjustment. The shipping charged when you place an order is an estimate. When the label prints, we charge or credit the difference between that estimate and the actual cost of the label.
5.4 Risk of loss. Title to and risk of loss for an order pass to you when we hand it to the carrier. If a carrier loses or damages a parcel, tell us within 30 days of the ship date. We will file the claim with the carrier and reprint the order at no charge once the carrier confirms the loss.
5.5 Defective copies. If a copy is misprinted, misbound or damaged in production through our fault, tell us within 30 days of delivery, with photos, and we will reprint it at no charge or, if we can't, credit what you paid for it. If the problem comes from your files or instructions, we will reprint at the order's original price. A reprint or credit is your only remedy for a defective copy.
5.6 Normal variation. Digital printing varies slightly from screen colours and between runs, and trimming can vary by up to 1/8 inch. Variation within these limits is not a defect. A proof copy shows what to expect.
6. Your content and ours
6.1 You keep your content. Your files, logos, text and images ("your content") remain yours.
6.2 Licence to print. You give Quantum a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to download, store, copy, adapt for printing (for example by scaling, imposing or adding barcodes), print, bind and ship your content, and to show your logo and ship-from name on products and labels, only to provide the Service to you and to keep records of what we printed.
6.3 Your promises. You promise that:
- you own your content or have every right needed for us to print and ship it, including copyright, trademark, publicity and privacy rights;
- your content and your orders comply with the law and the Acceptable Use Policy; and
- you are allowed to give us the names, addresses and other details of the people you ship to, for us to use in delivering their orders.
6.4 Files. You can give us files as links or upload them in the dashboard. Links must stay downloadable until the order ships. We delete files you upload 60 days after you upload them, or after 7 days if they never become part of an order. We keep copies of the files we download for 30 days after an order ships, for reprints and records, and then delete them. The Service is not a backup or storage service; keep your own copies.
6.5 No review. We do not review your content before printing it and are not responsible for it. We may refuse or stop any order whose content we believe breaks these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, without reviewing every order.
6.6 Our content. The Service, the dashboard, the API, our documentation and Quantum's names and logos belong to Quantum or its licensors. While your account is open, you may use the API and documentation to connect your systems to the Service, and nothing more.
6.7 Feedback. If you send us suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.
7. Suspension and closing an account
7.1 You can leave. You can close your account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to us. Your plan stops renewing, orders already in production are finished and shipped, and remaining credit is forfeited under 3.5.
7.2 Failed payments. If a plan fee or other charge to your card fails, we suspend your account straight away. While it is suspended, we refuse new live orders, but orders already accepted are still produced and shipped. The suspension ends as soon as the payment succeeds.
7.3 When we may suspend or close. We may suspend or close your account, or stop part of the Service for you, if you break these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if we suspect fraud or a security risk, or if the law requires it. We may also close an account for any other reason on 30 days' notice. If we close your account for a reason other than your breach, we will refund the credit you bought that has not expired.
7.4 What survives. Sections 3.5, 6, 8 and 9, and any amounts you owe, survive the end of your account.
8. Responsibility
8.1 Your customers. You sell the products to your customers; Quantum is your supplier, not theirs. You are responsible for your dealings with your customers, including their orders, support, returns, refunds and any consumer-protection duties.
8.2 Disclaimer. Apart from what section 5.5 promises about defective copies, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, Quantum gives no other warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and does not promise that the dashboard or API will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8.3 Limits. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused. Each party's total liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid Quantum in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, your obligations under 8.4, or a party's fraud or wilful misconduct.
8.4 Indemnity. You will defend Quantum and its affiliates, officers and employees against any third-party claim arising from your content, the products you sell, your customers, or your breach of these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, and pay the damages, costs and reasonable legal fees that result. Quantum will tell you promptly about the claim, let you control its defence, and help at your expense.
9. General
9.1 Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. We will tell you about a material change by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply; if you don't accept them, you may close your account under 7.1 before they take effect.
9.2 Notices. We send notices to the email address of your account's owner. You send notices to legal@quprod.com and to the address in 1.1.
9.3 Law and courts. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts in Mercer County, New Jersey, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.
9.4 Events beyond control. Neither party is liable for a delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as carrier disruption, power or network outages, natural disasters or shortages of materials, except for payment obligations.
9.5 Assignment. You may not transfer these terms without our written consent. We may transfer them to an affiliate or to a successor to our business.
9.6 The rest. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. The parties are independent contractors, and no one else has rights under these terms. You will comply with US export and sanctions laws in using the Service.
